It’s time for state and federal politicians to declare their ‘Religious Affiliations’. They are required to declare their pecuniary interests and it’s essential that citizens also know the personal religious beliefs of all MPs.
Dozens of secular issues are directly ‘religion related’ and the public should know how the religious beliefs of politicians will influence all social policies. The media needs to directly question all candidates on this critical issue.
